Join Chef Samantha Izzo of Simply Red Bistro in the kitchen on a variety of adventuresome culinary journeys in February, April and June.
Each class menu is seasonally inspired by the bounty of the season and to encourage experimentation with new flavor combinations and ingredients you may have never tried.
Not only will you take away new skills and knowledge, you will enjoy the meal with your new friends, the Chef herself, along with perfectly paired Sheldrake Point wines.
Note: Class size is intended to be intimate and is therefore limited to 16 people.
The Thai Menu you will help create is inspired by what late winter has to offer. You will be amazed by the flavorful results!
· Vietnamese-Style Spring Rolls of shredded cabbage, grated carrot, sliced red pepper, spicy cucumber & moo-shoo mushroom relish, cilantro and Thai basil plus a special dipping sauce.
· Bangkok-Style Spring Vegetable Soup is a zesty, aromatic combination of vegetable stock, lemon grass, ginger, chili-tamarind paste, coconut milk, lemon juice, cane sugar, Thai chili and cilantro.
· Cauliflower, Broccoli & Cashew Salad served warm with sautéed red onions, cauliflower, broccoli, yellow curry paste, coconut milk, tamari, jaggery, salt and cashews.
Cost: $55 per person - includes 3 hour instruction, culminating meal and accompanying wine.
