Wine OR Wine & Food Event

Wine OR Wine & Food

Vegas Food & Wine Lovers,

On Monday February 22nd, Sunset & Vines is pleased to present an evening with foods and wines of Argentina.  The 5 course dinner will be a single seating at a “family table”, beginning at 6:30, we have a maximum of 20 seats available and some have already been reserved.  The dinner is $75. per person with tax and tip being additional.

A little background, food and wine, intricately woven together, defines the time Argentines spend with family and friends around the dinner table.  This will be a dinner showcasing my and our Chef’s interpretation of some of the foods I grew up with.  Although born in Chicago, ALL of my family is from Argentina…in fact, most of my relatives still live there.  I look upon this as an opportunity to share with you some of the lasting impressions that those family dinners have left upon me.  Every dish will be reflective of an inspiration derived from these cherished memories.

And those Argentine wines, reflecting the unique personality that the high altitude terroir imparts on them.  For instance, we look upon high altitude vineyards in Napa as being around 1500 feet above sea level…in Argentina, it’s not unusual for vineyards sites, at the foothills of the Andes, to be 3000 to 6000 feet above sea level!  A unique growing environment, unlike any other anywhere in the world!

This promises to be a wonderful evening of wonderful food and wonderful wine in our Wine Cellar, arguably one of the best settings in Vegas for an occasion such as this…join us!

Please call me at 702-382-7900 for further information and reservations.
