Have you ever entered in a liquor store or wine shop and have been confused by a bewildering array of wine labels? Cute animals, clever names, and celebrities are all designed to get your attention but don't reveal anything about the wine inside the bottle. How can you identify the grape variety if it isn't listed on the label? What is useful information and what is just marketing. This two part presentation  will focus on U.S. and French wine labels. A $20 fee for the cost of food and wine is payable to instructor in class. Students are required to bring four wine glasses to each class.
