Wine OR Wine & Food Event

Wine OR Wine & Food

This year's wine event, like none before it, will feature up to ten tasting venues sprinkled throughout town.  Each venue will feature distinctive and unique wines and beer for tasting and for purchase. Also within town many restaurants and food kiosks will offer the tastes of the "Chesapeake Region."

The festival will take place throughout the town at various restaurants, shops and tented sites.  Attendees can walk "St. Michaels" using their WineFest map as their guide. Wines from eight countries, Chesapeake Bay foods, local art, music and Chesapeake Bay exhibits will leave you with a rich experience in this historic Eastern Shore getaway.  Special wine or beer dinners and cooking demonstrations will be offered by local restaurants showcasing the wonderful chefs of the area..

St. Michael's retailers, the reason why many visitors love to come to town, will have many specials in their shops, Local artists will demonstrate their talents in various locations and offer art for sale which will be on display at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. The newly renovated Patriot Cruise boat will be available for cruises down the Miles River and will also host a catered wine dinner and cruise on Friday night, April 23rd.

This event promises to be the premiere event of the year in St. Michaels, and there will be a limited number of tickets available to the event.

Come experience "St. Michaels," a charming colonial town on the Chesapeake Bay. There is no other town in Maryland quite like it!

This is a charity event which will benefit several local charities including the St. Michaels Food Bank, the Choptank Eastern Bay Conservancy, the Mid-Shore Council for Domestic Violence, the Benedictine School, and the St Michaels Community Center.
