Wine OR Wine & Food

Join Parties That Cook® and Crushpad Winery for an evening of delicious food and wine at Cooking For a Cause, an evening benefitting Room to Read. Room to Read is an international education non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the life-long gift of education to millions of children across the developing world.

Guests will be greeted with a nibble and a glass of wine before enjoying an informal tour of the winery and sampling original Crushpad wines. Guests will then be treated to a lively introductory cooking lesson featuring tips such as the fastest way to dice an onion without a tear. Fresh ingredients will be generously donated byWhole Foods Market. In small groups, guests will learn to cook international small plates inspired by the flavors of Southeast Asia and India, all while sipping wine and listening to upbeat music.  After dinner, Room to Read Founder John Wood will share the organization’s story and why he has dedicated his life to providing much needed educational resources to children in Asia and Africa. All ticket purchases and proceeds will go directly to Room to Read.
