The evening is going to the dogs, literally! Canine Partners For Life (CPL) invites you to its 12th annual Wine Auction on Saturday, April 10, 2010, at 6 p.m. at Harry’s Savoy Grill, located at 2020 Naamans Road, Wilmington, Delaware. Enjoy a selection of fine wines and scrumptious hors d’oeuvres while bidding on silent and live auction items that include collectible wines, vacation getaways, art, jewelry, and more.
CPL trains full-service dogs to provide physical assistance to individuals with disabilities (e.g., ALS, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, muscular dystrophy, arthritis, diabetes, chronic fatigue syndrome, paralysis, amputation, and more) in both the home and public environments. CPL also places full-service seizure-alert dogs to detect and alert to upcoming seizure activity, and it places home-companion dogs with special-needs children or the elderly to work in the home environment.
