Local Wine Events

Christine Cooney of Heavenly Spirits will be giving a tutorial on Cognacs and Armagnacs, two spirits that are often misunderstood or overlooked. Christine will go over the grapes (yes, they're made from grapes!) that go into them, the distillation process, and the aging that is involved in developing these complex brandies. She will outline the differences between Cognac and Armagnac and then also present the absinthe with the water fountain, the spoons and the sugar ceremonial.
