Local Wine Events

Escape the cold Iowa winter, and join the fifteen Heart of Iowa Wine Trail wineries for a warm winter getaway. Taste 90 different wines, and enjoy hors d'oeuvres, prize drawings, and other fun activities. Wines may be purchased to consume on site or to take home.

Park in the city ramp at 4th and Grand and ride the courtesy shuttles provided by Bos Restaurant and Splash Seafood. Shuttles leave regularly from the Savery Hotel and provide front door service to the Botanical Center

Turn the event into a private getaway with specially priced room accommodations at the Renaissance Savery Hotel - our event partner. Call (515) 244-2151 and ask for the special Tropical Wine Festival room rate. Bring a bottle of wine from the festival to accompany you late night dining at Bos (the Savery's new restaurant) or Splash Seafood. There will be no corkage fee for your Iowa wine at either restaurant.

Tickets are $30 ($35 at the door) and are available at Ingersoll Wine and Spirits, Ingersoll Wine Merchants, Iowa's Wine Cellar, Southern Hills Store, Iowa Favorites store, any Heart of Iowa Wine Trail winery or online at www.heartofiowawinetrail.com. Buy 4 tickets and receive a 2010 Heart of Iowa Wine Trail Passport free. Passport holders receive a 10% discount on tickets purchased at a wine trail winery.
