The Winter / Spring 2010 Semester includes 10 classes running January through May.
Wine Fundamentals (Part One of Three, class #1 of 10)
An introduction to tasting and enjoying wines from around the world. This class will lay the foundation for a lifetime of wine enjoyment. Designed for the beginner as well as the wine enthusiast. This Series-Within-A-Series is spread over three nights with a different focus for each class.
Tuesday January 19 – The HOW of Wine: This class will focus on several aspects of how wine is produced (viniculture) and the affect on the style of the final wine, as well as the techniques of how to properly taste, evaluate and store wine. This class will include approximately 8-10 wines to be tasted as part of the discussion, including a blind tasting component.
