Taste award winning Ortman Family Vineyards wines while you enjoy watercolors & more by local artist Etty Klinger with live music by J Street Slim & the Leisurnaut. Light appetizers paired with Ortman Family Vineyards wines will be available to enhance your evening of Wine & the Arts.
Etty has been painting all her life and her move from New York to California several years ago triggered her love affair with landscape painting. Her work features the ever changing skies and rugged coastlines, majestic hills and vast open spaces of California’s Central Coast.
Etty begins her paintings with watercolor. Sometimes a painting calls for more than what watercolor alone can provide so she will reach for her pastels, colored pencils, or gouache (pronounced "gwash" - an opaque watercolor paint).
J Street Slim and the Leisurnaut (aka Bob & Diane Duffy) are local musicians and winery employees whose musical style is best described as eclectic/eccentric! They perform "unplugged" for us, covering popular rock and original material infused with their quirky world-view.
