WINES THAT IMPRESS AND WINES TO GIVE AS GIFTS!
This Friday only! We will be sampling everyone attending on wines that we ourselves and clients have given as gifts and have made quite an impression on the recipients. These wines are perfect for gift giving as well as enjoying yourselves. Don’t miss this opportunity to taste these wines this week as these are wines that don’t often make it to our tastings as they sell pretty fast!
In this tasting, all attending will sample:
TATTINGER – CHAMPAGNE “NOCTURNE” – REIMS, FRANCE
Refined champagne for a perfect evening!!
2008 PALACIO DE FEFIÑANES - ALBARIÑO – RIAS BAIXAS, SPAIN
90-Point winner with refreshing flavors, perfect representation of the varietal.
2008 TRINITAS – CHARDONNAY – CARNEROS, CALIFORNIA
Made to rival Cakebread and Rombauer…one of our best selling Chardonnays!.
2000 CORISON – CABERNET – NAPA VALLEY, CALIFORNIA
90 pts. Wine Spectator - Delicious and approachable, drink now through 2010. Supple and harmonious, with a sense of understatement.
2005 CHATEAU CANDALE – BORDEAUX “ST EMILION GRAND CRU”
The blend is 80/20 Merlot/Cabernet Franc. Aging was 20+ months in reportedly all new French oak barrels. Less than 800 cases were produced. Robert Parker says Saint-Emilion rates 99 points for the 2005 vintage, taste this fantastic wine with us!
