The American Institute of Wine and Food, Rhode Island Chapter, invites you to begin the holiday season with a spark - a six course dinner at Spark Restaurant, 12 Broadway, in Newport, on Monday, December 14, at 6:00.    Spark was voted "Best BYOB restaurant" in 2007 by Rhode Island Monthly.  Chef Susan Zinno was part of the winning Newport Team in the AIWF's 2008 and 2009 Chef SmackDown.  The menu includes passed appetizers, crab succotash, free form veggie ravioli, Malaysian salmon sambal, cassoulet, and chocolate mousse. 
This is a BYOB Event.  Guests are encouraged to bring a bottle of wine and to consider choosing a sparkling wine as an option to accompany their dinner.

In the spirit of the season, the AIWF welcomes an unwrapped gift of toiletries or toys suitable for guests of Lucy's Hearth, a shelter for economically distressed women and their families in the Newport County area.
