Ortman Family Vineyards presents First Saturday—Wine & The Arts.  Saturday, December 5, 2009 from 5 to 7 p.m.  Taste award winning Ortman Family Vineyards wines while you enjoy the unique stainless steel sculpture by local artist Bob (Bart)Kerwin.  Live acoustic guitar music by local musician John Zamora and light appetizers will be paired with our wines to enhance your evening of Wine & The Arts.

Bob (Bart) Kerwin says,   “As a sculptor, I employ the textures of stainless steel, powder-coated steel and granite to create one-of-a-kind pieces.  As they emerge, they seem to acquire a life of their own.”  His work combines formed, plasma-cut and welded steel with marble, granite, glass and brass to create unique free-standing and wall-hung pieces. 

Ortman Family Vineyards is pleased to welcome back popular local musician John Zamora.  John plays acoustic guitar in a wide variety of styles.  Performing solo at Ortman Family Vineyards, John will play contemporary, folk, blues and soft rock selections to satisfy any musical tastes.
