 December Earth-to-Table Dinner on Thursday, December 10, at 6:30 p.m.  The family-style menu will celebrate fresh, seasonal, and locally farmed products that are grown sustainably. Chef Lee Anne Wong, a finalist on Bravo TV’s hit series Top Chef, will be here to prepare the dinner using international influences.

 

The Earth-to-Table Dinner is available to guests for $55 per person (excluding tax and gratuity). Seating is limited.

 

The menu includes:

Appetizers:

Sunchoke Veloute, Shiitake Mushrooms, Parmesan Cheese

Mixed Baby Greens, Fried Tofu, Persimmons, Shallot-Sesame Vinaigrette

Heirloom Potato, Radish, and Egg Salad, Anchovy-Miso Bagna Cauda, Peanuts

Winter Vegetable Tempura, Horseradish Ponzu

Sweet Onion, Kale, and Pork Pies, Ginger Cumberland Sauce, Pickles 

Entrees:

Duck Cassoulet, Pork Belly, Chinese Sausage, Tiger Eye Beans

Steamed Fish, Bok Choy, Black Bean and Orange, and Crispy Leek

Chef’s Garden Earth to Table Vegetables:

Mirin Glazed Fennel and Carrots, Toasted Sesame

Crispy Brussels Sprouts and Cauliflower, Hot Oil, Chilies, Five Spice Caramel

Wild Mushroom Fried Rice, Tatsoi, Mustard Greens

Chilled Garlic Green Beans and Cabbage Pickle

Desserts:

Butternut Squash Miso Pudding, Cocoa Puffed Rice

Apple Chestnut Dumplings, Ginger Caramel

ABOUT CHEF LEE ANNE WONG

Chef Lee Anne Wong exchanged one creative calling for another when she abandoned her career in fashion design to attend The French Culinary Institute in 2000. She has since returned to the school as the Executive Chef of Event Operations, where she composes original menus of her modern global fusion style, drawing on her artistic background for inspiration. In late 2005, Lee Anne flew out west to film Bravo’s reality series “Top Chef”. Chef Lee Anne was later brought onboard as the Supervising Culinary Producer of Top Chef now in its fifth season. She is currently starring in her own weekly webisode series, “The Wong Way to Cook” on Bravotv.com.
