What we drink from Spain is a creation of late twentieth-century attitudes and technology. Rioja--that highland portion of Navarre that defines the headwaters of the Ebro--leads the way with its evolution from the old 'oak and tannin' to the newer, Bordeaux-style of grace, elegance, and fruit.
Yet different approaches still exist, side-by-side. So come on over to The Cave and let Bill, our wine-guy, taste you on a few Riojas and other delights from Iberia, as well!
