November Gathering of the Eastern Iowa Wine Club:
Park Farm Winery (Bankston) is having a Nouveaux party on November 21st from 1-6pm. Our EIWC winegrowing friends at Old Man's Vineyard provided the Marechal Foch grapes for this new release.
NEW INFORMATION:
I spoke with Dave (winemaker) and he let me know the following information:
* $7 cover charge
* includes: 1 free glass; 1 free glass of wine; entry to grounds; live music.
* Two Bands; Chris Miller (early day); and Catch 3 (later part of day)
* Heated Tent
There will be food available (probably not free) but he said we could bring our own food if we wanted.
Tours of the winery happen at 1pm and 3pm - no special tours for us that day.
The Winery opens at 10am - the party starts at 1pm.
Anticipating ~300 people for party.
The Nouveaux Wine is made ENTIRELY from OLD MANS CREEK VINEYARD Marechal Foch!
