Paws” for a moment and stop in at the Huber Vineyard on Hwy 246, between Buellton and Lompoc. Norman and Traudl Huber are being joined by a few of their animal-loving winemakers for an afternoon of good food, great wines and lively conversation! The Hubers will be releasing their 2006 Charlotte’s Reserve Dornfelder wine, in honor and named after their longtime canine companion. Charlotte’s Reserve is a dark and friendly wine – just like black Labrador Charlotte, who now resides in dog heaven.

Participating wineries include Cane Felice, Chien, Chien Tacheté, Clos Pepe, Flying Goat Cellars and Prodigal. All proceeds benefit the Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society.
