Meet the Brew Master, Bob Cannon from Sam Adam. Learn, taste, pair and ask questions.
Bob Cannon, a brewer with the Boston Beer Company and a familiar face seen in Sam Adams commercials, will speak about finely crafted beer and how well it pairs with food.
Coastal Wheat, Sam Adams newest brew, will be sampled: brewed using two varieties of lemons from California; Lisbon and Eureka, that give it's citrusy flavor that balances out the character of our brewer's own signature malt blend resulting in a crisp, refreshing wheat beer with a subtle lemon aroma.
Also featured will be the classic Lager, Light and Winter Lager. The star of the show will be the infamous Utopia. With an alcohol content of 27% by volume, its complexity, and sweet malty flavor is reminiscent of a deep, rich vintage Port, fine Cognac or aged sherry while being surprisingly light on the palate.
