You may ask yourself whether cupcakes and wine actually pair well?  Well YES!!! And what a treat it is.  Last time we did this tasting people asked us to do it again.  We listen to you and this time Courtney has made cupcakes with flavors just for the season.   Courtney’s cupcakes are so tasty and with our wines you are sure to enjoy yourself.  If you are looking for a perfect dessert for the upcoming holiday season, come join us and sample our wines and these fantastic (well kept secret in Newport) cupcakes!    There will be order forms available for you to place an order with Courtney, just in time for all your holiday celebrations!

Here’s a bit on Courtney and her cupcakes:

A worker, a baker, and now, a cupcake maker! Courtney started by nurturing peoples’ sweet tooth at family events and friends’ parties. As more and more people started requesting her handiwork, she got the idea for “Courtney’s Cupcakes.” This fledgling endeavor has taken off quicker than she expected, so she’s constantly busy baking and perfecting her craft. She always has a little bit of flour on her somewhere, and generally smells of sweet frosting. For more information, please visit:

Reflesi – Malvasia Rose, paired with Brown Sugar Cupcakes

A pink sparkler that will make that cupcake hard to forget..and if you’re on a diet, this wine pairs up with fruit as well

Konzelmann – Vidal Ice Wine, paired with Carrot Cake Cupcakes

This ice wine made it to the top 100 wines of the world.  With this cupcake you’ll understand why.

Martin Weyrich – Moscato Allegro, paired with:  Apple Cider Cupcakes

Holly molly!  This pairing is amazing!!  A must try!

2002 Consilience – Zinfandel Port paired with:  Cinnamon cupcakes

And finally to warm up you and get you thinking of eating dessert by the fire is this final selection.  Warm and spicy pairing!
