Cheesemakers. To lead the series off, our Dean of Curriculum Max
McCalman is proud to begin with Allison Hooper, a pioneer for artisanal
cheese in America, co-founder of the award-winning Vermont Butter &
Cheese Creamery, and Past President of the American Cheese Society.
Allison and Max, will present some of her own award-winning cheeses,
along with a choice selection of other fine cheeses crafted in the U.S.
These Masters will draw from their just published books – for Allison,
IN A CHEESEMAKER’S KITCHEN, and for Max, MASTERING CHEESE – LESSONS FOR
CONNOISSEURSHIP FROM A MAÎTRE FROMAGER
