A softer red wine, which has gained recognition with the success of Sideways, Pinot Noir is best known for its elegant Burgundian wines, but is also making a name for itself in New Zealand and Oregon and on the North Fork. Participants are guided through a tasting of five Pinot wines of differing styles.

Your class will be led by Tracy Ellen Kamens, Ed.D., CSW, Chief Education Officer of Grand Cru Classes. Tracy holds the Certified Specialist of Wine credential from the Society of Wine Educators and is a member of the American Wine Society. She completed the Intermediate and Advanced Certificate courses (both with distinction) through the Wine & Spirits Education Trust and is currently a candidate in their Diploma of Wine & Spirits program. Tracy has written for Wine Enthusiast, Wine Press and Long Island Wine Gazette. When not tasting or teaching about wine, Tracy is an administrator at New York University, with fifteen years of experience in higher education. She earned her Doctor of Education degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her B.S. degree from Cornell University.
