Pop Champagne & Dessert Bar has developed a special three course menu that complements the exciting new vintage. Starting with a Soupe Ratatouille, the dinner proceeds to a main course of Coquille St Jacques Cordon Bleu served with prosciutto, and concludes with a pear tart poached in Champagne topped with glace à la vanilla, vanilla bean ice cream.  There will also be opportunities to bid on grand prizes from area merchants, as well as a case of the new vintage courtesy of eminent Beaujolais producer Georges Duboeuf, flights on a Cessna 172 Skyhawk aircraft, helicopter rides, paintings and prints by French artists and other auction items.  

Pop Champagne & Dessert Bar was voted best new restaurant by Pasadena Weekly, and is Southern California's first and only Champagne bar.  Pop also boasts an excellent selection of wines from around the world, including Beaujolais Nouveau. 33 E. Union Street in Pasadena, 91103

 The Alliance Française de Pasadena was founded in 1924.  Its purpose is to encourage the study of the French language and culture and promote understanding and friendship between French people and others who share these interests.  The Pasadena chapter differs from other language schools by offering a blend of language learning and cultural immersion.
