Adelaida Cellars presents a Holiday Open House from 1–5pm, Dec 5 featuring a Book & Author Fair with published writers and book signings; a Jewelry Trunk Show with local artists; a special appearance by Gu, “the Great Chiweenie”; and holiday desserts. Admission is free. 5805 Adelaida Rd., Paso Robles, CA 93446
Authors include Steven F. Hayward (The Age of Reagan: The Conservative Counterrevolution: 1980-1989), Thomas C. Wilmer (Romancing the Coast: Romantic Getaways Along the California Coast), and Dr. Thomas J. Rice (Paso Robles: An American Terroir) as well as the creators of children’s holiday books: Elizabeth Van Steenwyk, Tony Johnston, Elizabeth Spurr and Gu, “the Great Chiweenie”. Accomplished book illustrator Helen K. Davie is also featured.
Jewelers Aileen Parmenter, Jessica Haverlandt, Melissa Guise, Linda Hendler, Patrice Ballew and Amy Levy will display, discuss and sell their creative expressions while some will conduct demonstrations.
The Book & Author Fair is a benefit for the Paso Robles Library Foundation.
