Have you been hitting the bar scene only to find yourself at the same old places, seeing the same old types of people? Ever since you've been living in Washington D.C., have friends from high school and college shown up expecting you to show them an exciting night on the town? Have you ever come up empty handed? Tonight, we will take you to some of the greatest places in the Penn Quarter; the types of places you will be proud to take your friends to and recommend to your office mates; the types of places you may have never known existed. So join us as we show you what the Penn Quarter has to offer!
Penn Quarter is a revitalized historic neighborhood in downtown Washington, DC. It has become an arts and entertainment district with restaurants, hotels, nightclubs, art galleries, theaters and trendy stores. Washington Post boasts, "it sometimes feels like a development abracadabra!".
Penn Quarter is chic and we are going to prove it! Tonight we will meet at Posh Restaurant & Supper Club. This contemporary venue has a spacious layout, with high ceilings and art deco styling, Posh Supper Club has an air of 1950's grandeur. The restaurant woos guests with a complete evening experience! Drink specials include $4 bottled beer, $5 rail drinks and a $7 specialty martini.
We'll visit three other great venues tonight:
Rocket Bar Get ready for the weekend and kickoff the nightlife tour at this rocking sports bar. Get a drink and enjoy a game of pool or shuffleboard. Along with seven flat screen TV's you will be surrounded by 1950s-style rocket sculptures by Jimmy Descant and an astronaut mural. Grab a new friend and sit on a couch or banquette tucked away in one of many nooks or upon a raised perch. Drink specials - $3 Pabst Blue Ribbon, $4 Domestic Beers, $5 Rail Drinks
Zengo Enjoy the bright colors and modern décor in the first floor bar. Zengo is an energetic and eclectic Latin-Asian themed venue, acclaimed for its vibrant and fun atmosphere. $6 - Traditional Mojitos and Mango Mojitos
Stir Lounge Experience one of DC’s newest lounges with us. Stir embodies the energizing taste of New York and Miami nightlife right here in the nation’s Capitol.
