Catholic Charities of Chicago will host its 9th
Annual d’Vine Affair wine-tasting on Sunday,
January 31st from 2-6 p.m. at the Union League
Club of Chicago. Proceeds benefit the
Self-Sufficiency Programs in Cook and Lake counties.
Wines from more than 50 vintners will be served, representing varieties from
the West Coast, Europe, Australia,
and South America—many of which will be poured
by the vintners themselves. This event
also includes a wine-tasting seminar, conducted by Bob Bansberg, famous Chicago sommelier, and Patrick Fegan, Founder of the Chicago Wine School. A silent auction will feature special wine
offerings, wine drinking accessories, and gift certificates for area fine
dining. Delicious hors d’oeuvres will be
served.
