from 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Burien, WA
Cost: 10
Event ID #282122
Stock up on wine for Thanksgiving. Nothing over $20 so you can afford to bring enough for the entire party. Every wine specially chosen to enhance a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.
Wallace Brook Pinot Gris - Willamette Valley, OR 2008
Bosc pear, white peach, and apple with a touch of spice. It pulls off the difficult feat of providing a gentle creaminess that lends a mouth-filling texture and long finish, yet still impressing as a wine that’s crisp and clean. Versatile enough for the turkey, mashed potatoes, green bean dishes.
Seeing Chardonnay - Columbia Valley, WA 2008
Mostly Chardonnay, a little Sauvignon Blanc, and splash of Viognier, this is not your typical oak bomb Chardonnay. This wine is a clean and crisp un-oaked jewel with nice refreshing acidity. Fresh sliced nectarine comes off the nose, showing pear and green apple nuance on the palate. Try with turkey, ham, salmon and yams.
Cooper Mountain “Cooper Hill” Pinot Noir - Willamette Valley, OR 2008
Biodynamic and Organic certified by the Oregon Tilt. Big and lush with cassis, dark berry fruit and floral components on the palate and nicely integrated round acidity on the finish. A great match with ham, cranberries & stuffing.
Independent Producers Merlot - Columbia Valley, WA 2007
Soft, seductive aromas of black cherry, mocha and ripe, juicy plums lure you in. On the palate a burst of raspberry fruit followed by layers of cocoa and dense black fruit with chewy, ripe tannins. The finish is soft and smooth with a touch of toasted oak and licorice. Great with prime rib, stuffing, baked potatoes and turkey!
Artezin Zinfandel - Mendocino, CA 2007
This wine has aromas of ripe red fruit, with hints of sage, cinnamon and pepper. The fruit flavors flesh out on the palate, dominated by raspberry, boysenberry and red cherry, complemented by hints of nutmeg, rosemary and spice, for a classic varietal character. Soft, supple tannins create a firm, yet lush mouthfeel. Try with your spicier dishes, anything with nutmeg or berry sauce.
Amity Late Harvest Gewurztraminer - Willamette Valley, OR
The 2002 vintage was exceptional for this Late Harvest wine. A warm growing season and delayed picking produced sweet, intensely flavored grapes. The result is an aromatic, rich, creamy wine with lingering lychee nut flavors. A perfect match for pumpkin & apple pie!
