What better way to celebrate the holiday season than with a little bubbly, dessert wines, and chocolate? Join GiraMondo Wine to do just that and kick off the holidays with a little something sweet and say farewell to 2009! Complete with dessert wines, champagnes and sparkling wines, chocolates, hot chocolate tasting and more, this festival will be the sweetest deal in town!

This wine festival will feature 15 classic dessert wines including:

• Sauternes
• Vin Santo
• Various Muscat (s)
• Ice Wine
• Tokay
• Late harvest Viognier & Vidal
• Pacherenc de Vic Bihl
• Montbazillac

Don’t forget! 15 champagnes and sparkling wines will also be available to taste and will include champagne, cava, prosseco, and sparkling wines from some of the most prestigious wineries in the world!

We will taste chocolates and have an assortment of tasty treats to pair with your wine tastings. Be sure to save room for the hot chocolate tasting which will include tastings of dark hot chocolate, spicy (chili pepper), raspberry or mint hot chocolate as well as goat milk Valhrona hot chocolate.  

For those who sign up early, you have the choice of taking one of two classes:

6:30-7:15pm: Dessert Wines of World- learn about what makes these wines unique  and how they differ from regular wines

7:30-8:15pm: Champagnes and Other Bubbles- one of our most popular subjects, be sure to sign up for this class to learn about the ins and outs of sparkling wine and champagnes!
