The Beaujolais Nouveau Day countdown is on! Georges DuBoeuf Beaujolais Nouveau, 2009 will arrive at La Vie en Rose on Thursday, November 19th, flown in to town just in time to enjoy with a delightful dinner!
Beaujolais Nouveau is a red wine made from Gamay grapes produced in the Beaujolais region of France. It is the most popular vin de primeur, fermented for just a few weeks then officially released for sale on the third Thursday of November. This purple-pink wine is particularly lightweight, even by the standards of Beaujolais. The method of production means that there is very little tannin, and the wine can be dominated by fruity, flavors of bananas and pear drops. There is no better place to enjoy this wine than with the fine cuisine & ambience of our Award Winning Restaurant, La Vie en Rose. Were conveniently located just off the 57 Fwy at Imperial Hwy. Call 714 529-8333 for reservations. |
