Executive Chef, John McNabb, has been busy putting together our November wine dinner and this one is titled, " Holiday Fare- Our Way". This wine dinner has the ingredients of a traditional holiday meal but ...with a Knapp twist. Menu includes, wild mushroom and merlot soup, golden corn fritters with lump crab and chive, Anna style sweet potatoes with pear and dark rum foster sauce, grilled proscuitto wrapped turkey medallion served with a golden raisin, cranberry and brioche stuffing and topping the meal off with spiced pumpkin mousse in a phyllo cup vanilla bean, lavender and white chocolate sauce. Whew! That's a few mouth fulls. Special feature this month is a tank sampling of Knapp's first Gewurztraminer. If our winemaker gives final approval, you will be the first to sample Knapp's first Gewurztraminer which we have paired with our main entree. Make your reservations early! 800.869.9271. This five course meal will be paired with wonderful Knapp wines along side special guest wines from Zugibe Vineyards and Glenora Wine Cellars on November 21, 2009, beginning at 6:30pm. The cost for dinner is $38.95 per person.
