Lovers of wine and food who like to have Nouveau cool experiences will not want to miss this event. This is a perfect outing on a Finger Lakes November afternoon. Knapp will offer a taste from the barrel of a Noiret wine. Noiret is a hybrid variety, developed locally at the Geneva NYS experiment station. The wine has a black peppery note with intense deep rich color and wildberries, currants and a hint of smokiness in the nose. You will be tasting it right from the barrel! Light appetizers will be served for your enjoyment. The Nouveau Celebration costs $10 a person. In addition, other Knapp wines will be available to purchase by the glass for $4.00 and a 30% discount will be offered on all case purchases during that time. Live piano tunes will fill the air to round out the afternoon. Hurray for Noiret!
