Taste Great and Unique wines from Italy
La Caplana Gavi di Gavi It is an Italian white that sits pale straw in the glass with a musty bouquet of fruit and light melon.
Vecchia Cantina Chianti The color is ruby red with violet hues. The bouquet has characteristics of red berry notes, full and lingering with hints of brushwood. The flavor is full, dense and well balanced with a pleasing, tannic finish that echoes the tradition of its principal component, the Sangiovese grape.
Luigi Einaudi Dolcetto Rich and robust. Made from 70 year old vines. Cut it with a knife and fork and call it dinner!
Pio Cesare Barolo The color is an intense glossy garnet, with orange reflections. The bouquet is ethereal, with hints of violets, blackberry jam, licorice and cloves. The palate is dry and austere with lengthy tannins. The wine ends with a long concentrated finish accompanied by a lingering hint of almonds. |
