We are pleased to announce that our regular Saturday wine tasting this week will be hosted by Sake master, Michael Simkin. Mr. Simkin is recognized as one Americas’ foremost Sake authorities. He is a veteran of the cutting edge, New York Sake scene. Michael will take us through the elaborate process of sake brewing. He will talk about the different grades and styles of Sake available in the US. Mike has no trouble explaining the subtle differences between the various types of Sake produced throughout Japan. Mike is a very entertaining and engaging gentleman. In addition to his extensive Sake knowledge, Mr. Simkins is an excellent Japanese chef. He has promised to prepare some of his favorite treats for us. This event should prove to be an excellent opportunity to increase your Sake knowledge and Sake tasting skills.  No doubt, this will be a very lively and entertaining afternoon.
