FEATURING THE DEBUT OF THE "SEDUCTIVE" 2007 VINTAGE
Wally’s annual "first peek" of the new Bordeaux vintage is coming up shortly after the beginning of the New Year. This time the spotlight will be on the debut of the 2007 vintage, and we can expect an especially delicious combination when these youthful wines are paired with Wolfgang Puck’s and Lee Hefter’s specially-prepared five course menu. This is because the 2007 vintage, as noted by Robert Parker, is characterized by charm and purity. "The style of the vintage’s top wines are flattering, seductive, and fruit-forward," summarizes Parker. Additionally, as always, several sets of perfectly-aged older Bordeaux from exceptional years will follow the debut of the precocious new vintage.
Our distinguished Guests of Honor will be Anthony Barton of Leoville and Langoa Barton, Jean-Charles Cazes, of Lynch-Bages, and both Jean-Bernard Delmas and Nicolas Glumineau of Montrose.
We urge those interested in attending Wally’s Fête du Bordeaux Dinner to sign up early, as only about 75 seats are available.
