Held at One Giralda Farms, in Madison, guests will celebrate the Museum’s ruby (40th) anniversary. Event patrons will have the opportunity to sample a variety of savory wines from Gary’s Wine & Marketplace. Attendees will also be delighted with the variety of delicious hors d'oeuvres provided by Whole Foods. In addition, Odarka Stockert’s enchanting Celtic harp and flute duo, Glendalough's Muse, will be performing their beautiful music throughout the evening. Guests will also have the chance to participate in a silent auction that will feature a variety of unique items geared to fit any budget and will include a signature ruby piece designed by Jon Elliot of Emerson Elliott - Goldsmith, Silversmith & Jewelers.
In honor of the Museum’s 40th anniversary the Museum’s Board of Trustees will acknowledge The Provident Bank, who is celebrating its 170th anniversary, for the long-time support of the Museum and its diverse programming and events. The Trustees will also be honoring Museum Education Coordinator, Meg Wastie for her successful development of the Museum’s education department and programs, as well as, her overall continuous dedication to the Museum and its staff and the immense impact she has had on over 40,000 school children who have visited the Museum in the past several years.
All proceeds from Wine & Song will directly benefit the Museum's educational programs and the preservation and maintenance of the Museum's home, the James Library Building.
Wine & Song is a great opportunity to support a local treasure right in your own backyard! |
