Wine OR Wine & Food Event

Wine OR Wine & Food

Tonight's wine class is part of a seven week program - which you can either book individually or as a whole. In each class you will study one of the old world’s prominent wine regions and become well-versed in major appellations, their grape varieties, climates, regulations, characteristics and winemaking traditions.  This course emphasizes what is most important about any great wine: its origin and the concept of terroir, the importance of the vintage and the producer. You will learn how to decode a wine label, how to identify faulty wine, and the major principles of matching food and wine. In each class you will explore five different but typical wines of the region/topic the class is about. All wines included in class will be priced somewhere in the neighborhood of $10 to $100 per bottle - actually some of the most authentic wines available in the Arizona market, guaranteed! To neutralize your palate in between the wines we will serve artisan bread & cheeses.
