Winemaker Sean Capiaux of O'Shaughnessy Cabernet and Capiaux Pinot Noir will be at the dinner pairing his wines with food from Chef John des Rosiers.
On the Menu:
First Course Organic Aged Carnaroli Risotto with Spanish marcona almonds, local lavender flowers, Iberico cheese, paired with Capiaux Pinot Noir, Chimera 2007, Sonoma County
Second Course Japanese Tempura Tuscan Grilled Artichoke with homemade smoked bacon, water buffalo ricotta cheese, candied lemon skin sauce, paired with Capiaux Pinot Noir, Wilsons Vineyard 2006, Sonoma Coast
Third Course Shallot Marinated Grilled Sustainable Kingfish with autumn chanterelle mushrooms, red russian fingerling potatoes, spicy citrus tomato sauce, paired with Capiaux Pinot Noir, Widdoes Vineyard 2007, Russian River Valley
Fourth Course Grilled American Lamb Loin, marinated in grains of paradise, with sonoma farms organic scarlet runner beans, local ishikura onions, red wine-blackberry reduction, paired with O'Shaughnessy Cabernet Sauvignon, Howell Mountain 2006, Napa Valley
Fifth Course Manjari Chocolate "Pot de Creme", whipped coconut, pistachio nut brittle paired with Aleyone Tannat NV Atlantida, Uruguay
