Ever thought about quiting your corporate job and owning a winery?  Well these guys did and they followed their heart and made there dreams come true.  Only a 1350 case producer and with several passionate winemakers - they are on their way to becoming a top notch wine and we are excited to bring you this boutique winery!

Here is part of their story:
OUR FIRST DAY OF WINEMAKING!
We all have comfortable corporate lives rooted in suburban Los Angeles. On the day we entered Los Angeles to Lompoc into MapQuest we realized there was no turning back. The adventure had begun. Our first winemaking experience was to paint Loring Wine Company’s new, additional winery space – space added in part because of Pali’s production. Tim, Scott, Rob and Diane showed up for the first time at the winery to see Brian in his painter’s uniform already well on his way to whitewashing the first wall. Neatly placed on a tarp in the center of the space were four more painter setups – pans, rollers, brushes, mixers, etc. We all went to work.

No one realized how sore we would feel the next day as a result of rolling paint up 20 foot walls for 10 straight hours. Little did we know that pain is part of winemaking. Whether painting, crushing, cleaning, punching, palletizing or boxing, it all involves lots of heavy, manual labor. Several tubs of “Sore-No-More” later and we were hooked.
