Garnet Wines & Liquors Presents…
An “Extraordinary” Bordeaux Tasting: Featuring wines from noted winemaker Stephan von Neipperg
Customers who stop by Garnet Wines & Liquors on Thursday, November 5th will enjoy a special tasting of 9 Extraordinary Bordeaux Wines. This is sure to be an incredible wine experience and a special opportunity to taste and learn about wines from the estates of “perfectionist, wine guru” Stephan von Neipperg.
The Counts von Neipperg have produced wines for 800 years. In 1971, they became present in Saint-Emilion when they purchased Canon La Gaffelière, La Mondotte, Château Peyreau and Clos de l'Oratoire. The Château d'Aiguilhe, purchased at the end of 1998, is the last acquisition of the family. Located in the Côtes de Castillon area, this outstanding estate is today one of the leaders of the appellation. The philosophy of Stephan von Neipperg could be summed up with this sentence: “I produce a luxury product with a craftsman’s attention to detail. I consider it a point of honour to make wine with love and attention”.
