If you have been at our Thursday Nights with Stuart Mason and
Friends... then you will love this Thursday, with his friends Foggy Bay
String Band - they have played at Gather before and we are excited to
have them back! Foggy Bay String Band is a six-member local band playing American Old-Time music. Many of the members play several instruments. Instrumentation is acoustic and includes fiddle, mandolin, guitar, acoustic bass, hammer dulcimer, 5-string and tenor banjo. The band members are Jonas Richardson,Jim (JB) Bolton, Bruce Powers, Jerry James, Gary Atkinson, and Chris Rose. The Fog repertoire centers on hard-driving, foot-stomping, dance-inducing tunes, and is also enjoyed by stationary swillers. |
