On Saturday November 7th, the ESSENTIAL MUSIC LOUNGE presents Jazz Guitar Virtuosos Sid Jacobs & Ron Berman. It will be Classic Jazz played at the highest level. We may also have Legendary Guitarist Jimmy Wyble visiting as well! Music Sets at 8:00 & 9:00. NO COVER CHARGE! Reservations recommended, but not required. Sid Jacobs is the performer that other guitarists want to see. His recordings include “It’s Not Goodnight” and “Open Strings”. His performance experience includes Argentina’s Guitars of the World Festival, Turkey’s Ankara Music Festival and with artists Buddy Montgomery, Joe Diorio and Brad Mehldau. He has played with Jaki Byard, Larry Young, Jimmy Guiffre, Andrew Hill, Joe Diorio and Herb Ellis. In 1978, he performed in the U.S. debut of George Russell’s Concerto for Two Guitars. His CDs include, “Songs of Alan Broadbent”, a solo guitar recording, featuring the music of the grammy award winning pianist and “Soul Eyes,”a jazz guitar duo with Riner Scivally.
