Nu Guajiro struck its first chords in Brooklyn, NY in 1995, long before Buena Vista Social Club and the current influx of Son Montuno groups hit Manhattan.
The meetup is scheduled for seven, some of us are getting there around 6:30 because although Nu Guajiro is on at seven, the cocktail specials are available from the moment you arrive. Yes, even if you get there at five pm.
