Artisano - Regional Wines, Foods, Art & Music

Artisano is a new, regional celebration of artisan wine, specialty food, original art and music taking place on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the Geyserville Inn from noon to 5pm. This nevent benefits Slow Food's School Garden Projects in northern Sonoma County. Food and wine tasting, cooking demos, art displays and sales, and live music and dancing courtesy of The Steve Pile Band. Al frescoe venue showcases amazing vineyard and mountain views.
Notable Artisano participants include chefs Josh Silvers of Syrah (Santa Rosa), Jeff Mall of Zin (Healdsburg) and Gerald Hirigoyen of Piperade (San Francisco). Over 25 small, exclusive Sonoma and Marin county wine producers including MacPhail, Duxoup, Montemaggiore, among others. Over 20 local farmers, speciality food purveyors and restauranteurs including Bellwether Farms, Cow Girl Creamery, Charlie Palmer’s Dry Creek Kitchen, Sonoma Foie Gras, Delice de la Vallee, and numerous others. Sononma County's KRSH (The Crush)Radio Personality, Ziggy the Wine Gal, (www.ziggythewinegal.com) will be serving as emcee throughout the day, encouraging bidding on both silent and live auction items, including a fantastic one-week stay in an Italian villa. |
