November is the perfect time to take a culinary excursion through the traditional flavors of historic Rome. The Classic Cup in Ellicott City is sponsoring its monthly, private Italian dinner on November 13 at 7:00 pm. This month we are featuring the food of Rome. Our menu will offer a traditional four-course Roman meal reflecting the products of this region. Antipasta – Bresaola, with Arugola, and Grapefruit dressed in Lemon and Olive Oil Primi - Artichoke and Parmigiano Soup made with Home made chicken stock Secondi – Chicken Principessa - Chicken scallopine sauteed with a Marsala sauce Dolce – Strtawberry Tiramisu - a lighter quintessential Roman version of the classic Italian dessert. Our four course, private dinners are prepared by a local Chef that works for an Italian Restaurant in Baltimore with an emphasis on quality ingredients, prepared using traditional Italian recipes and techniques to provide an authentic taste of the region. The price for this dinner is $38. As always, feel free to bring a bottle of wine. Sparkling water will be available, and of course there will be coffee served with dessert!
