Event Details

Wine OR Wine & Food Event

Wine OR Wine & Food

The five course meal will feature special creations from Executive Chef James Carpenter designed to spotlight the Slow Food East End Chapter.  Top Twin Forks suppliers like Milk Pail Orchards, Satur Farms, and Mecox Bay Dairy will figure prominently in the chef’s mouth-watering creations for the evening.

Complimenting the delicious menu will be a series of wines chosen by Sommelier Kelly Matis and restaurant Wine Director Chris Miller to feature winemakers who take a more natural approach to viticulture.  Wines expected to star over the course of the meal include bottlings from Macari Vineyards of Long Island’s North Fork. This producer employs biodynamic principles in their viticulture resulting in wines that genuinely showcase the earth, fruit and climate of their origins. In addition to the evening, Joseph and Alexandra Macari, of Macari Vineyards, will be dining with us and will provide tasting comments throughout the evening.
