The five course meal will feature special creations from Executive Chef James Carpenter designed to spotlight the Slow Food East End Chapter. Top Twin Forks suppliers like Milk Pail Orchards, Satur Farms, and Mecox Bay Dairy will figure prominently in the chef’s mouth-watering creations for the evening. Complimenting the delicious menu will be a series of wines chosen by Sommelier Kelly Matis and restaurant Wine Director Chris Miller to feature winemakers who take a more natural approach to viticulture. Wines expected to star over the course of the meal include bottlings from Macari Vineyards of Long Island’s North Fork. This producer employs biodynamic principles in their viticulture resulting in wines that genuinely showcase the earth, fruit and climate of their origins. In addition to the evening, Joseph and Alexandra Macari, of Macari Vineyards, will be dining with us and will provide tasting comments throughout the evening.

Local Cheese Pumpkin Ravioli in pumpkin broth with Vasterbotten cheese and crispy sage
Wine Pairing: Macari Vineyards Estate Chardonnay 2007 ~ Pan Seared local bay scallops with roasted fennel and pears
Berkshire Pork Tenderloin, candied Satur farm yams, caramelized brussel sprouts and lingonberry sauce
Wine Pairing: Macari Vineyards ‘Dos Aquas’ 2007 ~ MilkPail Jona Gold apple Galette with calvados crème fraiche
Wine Pairing: Macari Vineyards ‘Block E Cabernet Franc’ 2007 ~”ice wine” ~ Guests will enjoy dinner, wines, and tasting comments from Executive Chef James Carpenter, Slow Foods Representative and Alexandra Macari of Macari Vineyards.
