We are excited to announce our last Wine "Pairing" Dinner of 2009 with chef Cody Storts.  For our last dinner of the year, we thought we would mix it up a little and highlight a wine region rather than a specific winery. We will be featuring an Italian-themed dinner with wines specifically chosen by our newest Italian wine rep, Jennifer Keefe.  You may remember Jenn from her lowly days working at our humble wine shop.  Well, our little girl's all growed up now, and we are excited to have her back in the tasting room where she belongs, pouring wine for you!  Not to be outdone, chef Cody put together an amazing menu at our last winemaker dinner, and everyone raved about his food.  Jenn and chef Cody have gone all out for this one, the wine and food pairings and the presentation promise to be the most memorable of the year.

1st course

Cornmeal dusted seared sea scallops

 with a Thai basil and citrus beurre blanc,

served with crisped brussel sprouts

2nd course

Turkey breast confit with duck gravy,

served with glazed sweet potato and parsnip bâtonnet

Venison filet with a peppered ‘La Grola’ reduction

on a bed of braised collard greens with artisan goat cheese
