Garnet Wines & Liquors Presents:

AN ARGENTINE WINE-TASTING EVENT

Customers who stop by Garnet Wines & Liquors on

Thursday, October 29th will have a special opportunity to learn

about Argentine wines from guest Ricardo Giadorou,

Dolium Winery owner and winemaker.

About DOLIUM Wines:
The word "dolium" is Latin for amphora, the distinctive bottles that the classical Greeks and Romans used to store wine. Like the Romans, who kept wines underground at a constant temperature throughout the year, Dolium is the first underground winery in Argentina to combine such ancient traditions with modern technology.

Dolium, which began operations over a decade ago, is  located in the heart of Agrelo, in the winemaking region of Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza. The winery's vineyards are in Lunlunta, Agrelo, Perdriel, and Chacras de Coria. All of the grapes are hand picked and carefully selected from vines that have been pruned to reduce yields and increase the level of extract.  The delicate treatment of the fruits ensures that the full flavours of the grapes are not lost and that wines of the highest quality are produced
