Believe or not, NY state is the third biggest wine producing state in the US. Yet, their exposure is pretty limited even within the state. Modernization of the wineries and advance winemaking techniques have elevated the quality of NY wines beyond belief. Join us to celebrate New York wine at The Winery on Friday 5:30 PM to 8 PM and Saturday 4 PM to 8 PM.. The Winery has acquired some of the top award winning wines from the recent Classic. Don't miss this rare opportunity to taste the best of the best of the show. Meet the winner of the coveted Governor's Cup, a large silver chalice, recognizing the "Best of Show" or top prize of all 805 entries in the New York Wine and Food Classic 2009 competition. Ann and John Martini from Anthony Road Winery will be hosting the Friday tasting. They will be pouring their Double-Gold winners, as well as some other winery winners from the Finger Lakes appellation. |
