Cook Street is excited to offer our first recreational two-class series on gluten free (GF) cooking and baking. In the first class, we will analyze the typical grains and starches used in GF foods, learn to read food labels and discover common sources of hidden gluten. Bob's Red Mill has donated over 15 items that we will smell, touch, taste, talk about, and cook with. The second class will address issues such as cross-contamination, dining out, and supporting local, GF friendly restaurants. Throughout the series, we will be cooking a variety of cookies, muffins, cakes, bread and savory foods.”
