WinewomenPSP welcomes Chefs Jimmy Schmidt and Brian Recor at the new Morgans in the Desert at the La Quinta Resort and Club! 

You remember Brian as Chef de Cuisine at Jimmy Schmidt's Rattlesnake in Palm Desert. Come see what they cook up for us at their spectacular new venue at La Quinta Resort with a sneak preview and wine dinner. 

We'll start off with Pommery Champagne, crostini and flatbread pizzas. Next, a cheese station with spiced nuts, mixed olives and salad station with local figs, baby watercress and Comte cheese paired with St. Supery Sauvignon Blanc. Witness a rare phenomenon we enjoyed at our Rattlesnake dinner last February: Men going back for salad seconds! Yes, it's that good.

Main courses at the dinner station comprise Maine bay scallops with roasted spaghetti squash, basil and parmesan as well as slow-roasted Maple Leaf duck breast with wild mushroom risotto and crispy sweet onions paired respectively with La Crema Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Save room for Chef's dessert station with assorted delicacies, premium coffees and teas.
